Secretary Of Defense To Visit Fort Leonard Wood

(Fort Leonard Wood, MO) — The U-S Secretary of Defense is scheduled to visit Fort Leonard Wood in central Missouri Wednesday. Secretary Ash Carter will tour the post, making stops at the U-S Army Maneuver Support Center of Excellence and the Military Police School. Nearly 80-thousand service members are trained at the fort every year. In addition to Fort Leonard Wood, where Carter will make a speech, he is also visiting military posts in Nebraska, New York and Ohio.
