Springfield VA Clinic Construction To Start Next Month

(Springfield, MO) — The Department of Veterans Affairs says the construction of a clinic in Springfield will begin next month. The Springfield News-Leader reports a groundbreaking ceremony for the Gene Taylor Community Outreach Clinic will be held October 25th. The clinic will replace the existing V-A clinic in Mt. Vernon. It is believe the clinic could be completed and opened by late 2018 or early 2019. An estimated nine-thousand veterans would use the Springfield Clinic.
