The city has offered a contract for the position to Tim Schook. Schook is currently the city manager for the city of Stroud, Oklahoma, where he has served the last 6 years. He has worked in city management since 1997 and has served as administrators in Washington, Kansas for 11 years and Arma, Kansas for 2 years. Before that Schook worked in construction management.
