Hartville City Council Meets Tuesday

(Hartville, MO) — The City of Hartville City Council meets tonight (Tues) at 6:30PM at the Hartville City Hall. On Council’s Agenda, the alderman will hear from visitors, Chuck Oker and Andy Litty.  COuncil will also hear reports from City Fire Chief Brian Jolley and City Police Chief Adam Stigal and from the city water and sewer departments. The alderman in old business will discuss having Willard Asphalt pave the city streets. Two ordinances and a resolution are on the agenda for new business. The ordinances are to enter into a cooperative agreement with the county collector to collect certain city taxes, the other ordinance would authorize the city to enter into an agreement with the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission. The resolution on the agenda states that the City of Hartville intends to seek funding through the state rural transportation alternatives program for replacing downtown sidewalks along Highways 5 and 38.
