Missouri State Quarterback Facing Public Backlash
The attorney for suspended Missouri State Bears quarterback Breck Ruddick says the public response animal abuse allegations against his client is “shameful.” Adam Woody says Ruddick has received death threats after an unidentified woman alleged in a Facebook post that Ruddick beat her friend’s dog. She said he hit the dog three times and broke its jaw and several teeth. The attorney maintains the Facebook post wasn’t accurate. The school says he was held out of last week’s game against Kansas State due to the allegations. Greene County Animal Control has cited Ruddick.
