Houston Family Hospitalized After Crash North of Houston

A Wednesday evening car crash on Highway-17 in Texas County sent a Houston, Missouri family to the hospital with various injuries. At about 6:40PM Wednesday, 25-year-old Michael Mitchell of Bucyrus turned into the path of 37-year-old Martin George of Houston striking George’s vehicle. The Highway Patrol reports that only the child occupant of the George family’s vehicle was wearing a seatbelt, 10-year-old Martin George received minor injuries, 37-year-old Martin George received moderate injuries and 41-year-old Susan George received serious injuries. All 3 were transported to Texas County Memorial Hospital for treatment.
