More Missouri Schools Offering Breakfast

Two dozen Missouri school districts will begin serving breakfast to students, using money from the 2016 Fuel Up to Play nutrition grant program.  The Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education was notified about the 190-thousand dollars in federal funding last week.  Sixty-six schools in those districts will be adding programs like Breakfast After The Bell or new menu offerings.  Since 2009, the U-S Department of Agriculture has handed out 215-million dollars in school nutrition grants.
