Texas County Car Crash Injures Two

A car crash Tuesday morning left two Texas County residents with injuries.  At about 8AM 44-year-old Chandra Baker was traveling eastbound on Highway-137, 3-miles south of Licking, and 32-year-old Daniel Cooper of Mountain View was traveling westbound and crossed the center line, striking Baker’s vehicle.  Cooper was uninjured in the crash.  Chandra Baker and passenger 10-year-old Campbell Baker suffered moderate injuries and were taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston.
