Pedestrian Injured in Grovespring Crash

A Wright County crash involving a pick-up truck and a pedestrian, resulted in injuries to a Grovespring woman. 75-year-old Charles Melvin of Conway was driving westbound on Griffin Road, 5-miles north of Grovespring, when he struck pedestrian 30-year-old Michelle Henderson of Grovespring. Henderson sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield.
