Michigan Man In Serious Condition From Motorcycle Crash In Douglas County

A Michigan man was flown after a crash outs Ava Tuesday morning. At about 11:30AM Tuesday, 54-year-old Douglas Dutcher of Portland, Michigan was riding his motorcycle east on Highway-14, 14-miiles east of Ava when he ran off the roadway, overturned and was ejected from his bike. The Highway Patrol reports that Dutcher was wearing safety gear, including a helmet. Dutcher was flown to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
