Grovesprings Man Airlifted After Crash Between Hartville and Grovesprings

A crash between Hartville and Grovesprings caused a Grovespring man to be airlifted to the hospital. At about 10:45 AM this (Wednesday) morning, 32-year-old Dane Stecklein of Grovesprings was driving south on Highway-5 and had stopped to make a left turn when a tractor-trailer also driven south by 64-year-old Dale Jackson of Lebanon struck Stecklein causing Stecklein’s vehicle to overturn. The Highway Patrol and Wright County Sheriff report that both drivers were wearing their seatbelts. Stecklein was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with moderate injuries.
