Military Installations No Longer Accepting Missouri Driver’s Licenses

flwmaingateScott Air Force Base and Fort Leonard Wood are changing their rules regarding ID’s.  Starting September 15th, a Missouri driver’s license alone will not be accepted as a form of identification to enter the bases.  In order to enter the bases, one must show a federally recognized form of ID such as a passport.  Fort Leonard Wood will accept a Missouri driver’s license if it is presented along with some other type of ID such as a Social Security card.
