Ava Woman Injured In Monday Afternoon Car Crash
A Monday afternoon car crash on Highway-DD, west of Ava, injured a Douglas County woman. 71-year-old Rosemary Swain of Ava was driving west when she lost control of her vehicle, ran off the roadway striking fences and a tree. The Highway Patrol reports that Swain was wearing her seatbelt. She was transported by ambulance to Cox South Hospital in Springfield with minor injuries.
