Governor Nixon Appoints Outersky As New Wright County Collector

Governor Jay Nixon appointed Linda D. Outersky, Mountain Grove, as the new Wright County Collector. The position became vacant upon the resignation of former Collector Cynthia Cottengim.

Outersky, a Democrat, most recently served as the business office coordinator for Community Hospices of America from 2003 to 2015. She previously was safety director for Worrel Transport from 1998 to 2003. Outersky is a member of the Mountain Grove Central Arts Council and also has served as an election judge supervisor.

“I am pleased to name Linda Outersky as the new Wright County Collector, and I am confident she will ably serve the citizens of the county in this position of trust,” Gov. Nixon said.
