Crews Continue Improvements Along US-60
US-Highway-60 in Carter, Shannon, Howell, Texas and Wright Counties will be reduced to one lane as contractor crews continue to perform guardrail improvements.
This section of roadway is located from the Current River Bridge in Van Buren in Carter County through Shannon, Howell and Texas to Whetstone Bridge in Wright County. Weather permitting, work will continue to take place Monday, Aug. 15 through Saturday, Oct. 15 from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., including weekends as necessary.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use caution while traveling in the area.
