Willow Springs Man Dies In Highway Incident Saturday

A Willow Springs man died in a weekend highway incident. At just before 9PM Saturday night, 25-year-old Nathan Smith of Willow Springs was walking along Highway DD, a mile east of Willow Springs, when he was struck by a pickup. The Highway Patrol investigated the incident, they report that Smith was transported to Ozarks Medical Center where doctors pronounced him deceased. This is the 22nd fatality investigated by Troop G Troopers this year, compared to only 17 at this time last year.
