Three Injured in Grovespring Crash

A car crash in Grovespring injured 2 Wright County residents Wednesday. At about 2:30PM, 70-year-old Frances Stewart of Hartville was driving East on Highway-M when she failed to yield to 76-year-old Ruth Lewis-Long of Gainsville, who was driving north on Highway-5 and had the right of way. The vehicles struck each other in the intersection. The Highway Patrol reports that everyone was wearing their seatbelts. Lewis-Long was transported by Mercy Ambulance to Cox South Hospital with moderate injuries. Stewart and passenger 46-year-old Lea Bembry of Hartville were both transported by private vehicle to Mercy Lebanon with moderate injuries.
