Woman Life-Flighted From Serious Car Crash Outside West Plains

A West Plains woman was life-flighted from a car crash in Howell County late last week. 23-year-old Britney Vaughn was driving south on Highway-17, just south of West Plains when she went off the left side of the roadway, and struck a tree. The Highway Patrol and Howell County Sheriff’s Office report that Vaughn was not wearing her seatbelt. She was life-flighted to Cox Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
