Willow Springs Woman Dies In Thursday Afternoon Car Crash

A Willow Springs woman died Thursday in a car crash in Texas County. At about 2:45PM, 46-year-old Jodi Miller of Willow Springs was driving eastbound on Highway AZ, north of Willow Springs when she went off the right side of the roadway, over-corrected and went off the left side of the roadway and overturned, partially ejecting the passenger, 49-year-old Lisa Roberts from the vehicle. The Texas County Coroner and Highway Patrol report that Roberts was not wearing her seatbelt and had died at the scene. This is the 21st fatality in Troop G this year, compared to only 12 at the same time last year.
