Study Finds Missouri State Workers Are Making Less Then Any Other State
A just-completed study finds the salaries of Missouri state workers are more than 10 percent below what is considered to be competitive pay. Missouri ranks dead last among the 50 states. The consultant says Missouri would have to spend more than 13-million dollars to bring the pay checks for those workers up to the national average. Benefits for the workers are above average. They received a two-percent pay hike this year.
