Laclede County Sheriff Busts Large Pot Operation
The Laclede County sheriff calls the bust of a marijuana grow operation last week the biggest in the county since he’s been in office. Two men, Jerry Parrish and Allen Crumrine, faces drug trafficking charges. Sheriff Wayne Merritt says his deputies recovered processed marijuana, more than 38-hundred marijuana plants, seven guns and about 35-hundred dollars cash. Investigators in a helicopter spotted what appeared to be marijuana plants on a farm in Eldridge last week. A search warrant served on the property.
