Cabool Man Died In Farm Incident Tuesday

A Cabool man died in a farm machinery incident Tuesday. 80-year-old Eugene Durnell of Cabool was standing outside his McCormick farm tractor Tuesday night on private property south of Cabool when the tractor rolled and struck Durnell. Howell County Coroner Tim Cherry pronounced Durnell had died at the scene. The incident counted as the 20th fatality in Troop G this year compared to only 10 at this time last year.
