Wright County 911 Near Ready For Operation

The Wright County Emergency Communications Center, located at the intersection of Bus. Hwy. 60 and Wall St., is in the final stages of completing their remodel and installation of the new 911 phone system, radio system and Computer Aided Dispatch systems.
An IT/GIS manager and a dispatch supervisor have been hired. They have started testing for the new 911 dispatchers. It is anticipated that they will start in July, and they will begin receiving 911 calls in August.
“This has been a long process and we appreciate the patience from the residents of Wright County. We will have an open house before we start taking 911 calls.
