Good Turnout For Hartville Celebration of Unity Even After Weather Delay

The Hartville Celebration of Unity this weekend was postponed by wet weather but that didn’t stop crowds from all over the Ozarks to flock to Hartville for free pulled pork, hot-dogs, hamburgers, brats, and live entertainment from local groups, the Calverymen and Handpicked. Hiland Dairy also had thousands of free ice cream bars and there was hundreds of pounds of watermelon to keep the crowds cool before the fireworks went off at dusk. Event coordinator Alan Dickenson says that the event focuses on bring the community’s of the area together in unity for the country and for Christ. The event is put on every year in Hartville by a group of over 20 area churches, the City of Hartville, Hartville Volunteer Fire, Hartville Police, Wright County Sheriff, Wright County Emergency Management, Hartville Lions Club and Wright County Outlaws Amateur Radio Club.
