Ava Teen Injured in Monday Evening Car Crash

An Ave teen was injured in a Monday evening car crash. 26-year-old Richard Davis of Ava was driving north on Highway-5, north of Ava, when he ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a rock bluff and overturned. Both Davis and passenger, 16-year-old Jimmie Dill of Ava, were wearing their seat-belts. Davis was not injured, Dill was transported to Cox South Springfield with moderate injuries.
