Wright County Sheriff Makes Arrest For Attempted Murder

The Wright County Sheriff’s office has arrested a Hartville man for attempted murder. 24-year-old Randy Kuhn Jr., of Hartville was arrested after he allegedly broke into a residence Sunday morning east of Hartville. He then allegedly assaulted a female resident of the home with what was believed to be a hammer. The victim is in stable condition at an area hospital. Kuhn is currently held without bond facing charges of 1st Degree Assault causing Serious Physical Injury, 1st Degree Burglary and Armed Criminal Action. The Hartville Police Department and Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted with the investigation.
