Norwood Woman Dies in Memorial Day UTV Crash

Highway Patrol Troop G Willow Springs troopers were busy over the weekend with keeping motorists safe on the highways, however the only reported fatality over the weekend in Troop G was from a UTV crash. At about 7pm Monday, 66-year-old Willie Prebeck of Norwood was riding her UTV on private property west of Norwood when she stuck a fence post and overturned. Prebeck was partially ejected from the UTV during the crash. Wright County Coroner Ben Hurtt pronounced Prebeck dead at about 10:30PM Monday. This is the 15th fatality crash investigated by the patrol in Troop G this year, compared to 8 at this time in 2015.
