City Council voted to amend the ordinance to eliminate language requiring an annual inspection in lieu of a inspections based on complaints and a pre-occupancy inspection. If passed the amended proposed ordinance would require also that landlords pay a flat fee of $25 a year, the fee would be the same no matter how many units or properties a landlord owned.
