Willow Springs Man Charged with Child Porn and Exploitation

A 29-year-old man has been charged after contacting underage girls online. Brandon Bowen is being charged with 3 felonies, sexual misconduct involving a minor, sexual exploitation of a minor and promoting and possessing child pornography. Those charges were filed following an investigation conducted by the Willow Springs Police Department and the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. The investigation started after a report was received that Bowen met 2 young females after contacting them via social media. An electronic device taken from Bowen was found to contain several images and Bowen was arrested and is being held in the Howell County Jail on a $50-thousand-dollar bond.
