New Missouri Learning Standards Approved

Logo_main_colorThe Missouri Board of Education has given its approval to new learning standards in math, English, social studies and science for public school students. The new education benchmarks will replace Common Core standards. Missouri lawmakers passed a bill forcing the state board to come up with the new standards two years ago. Schools will have to start using the guidelines this fall, with testing based on them beginning in spring 2018.
