Trump and Clinton Claim Missouri – For Now

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are the winners of the Missouri presidential primary, for now. Recounts are possible after the final results showed that both candidates won their respective party primaries Tuesday by less than one-half of one-percent. That’s the threshold in which losing candidates in Missouri can ask for recounts. As the votes were counted Tuesday night, the Republican Trump trailed Ted Cruz at times — and there were times when Clinton was second to Bernie Sanders. Marco Rubio dropped out of the GOP race after losing his home state of Florida — and Trump and Clinton were the big winners in general as five states voted on Tuesday, the second-most during the entire primary-and-caucus season.
