Allergists at the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology warn things are about to get ugly for allergy sufferers. The relatively mild winter Missouri has gone through is expected to lead to an intense allergy season. Some doctors are saying we will experience “record-breaking” pollen counts in the spring. They are even calling this a “pollen vortex,” predicting misery ahead for people who spend a lot of money on tissue this time of the year.
