Ice Causes Car and Tractor Trailer To Crash Near Mountain View

There were a number of car crash last night due to slick roadways, one crash occurred at 4:45PM on US60, just east of Mountain View. 28-year-old Eric Brooks of Mountain View was driving east on US60 when he lost control of his vehicle on the ice slickened roadway, ran into a tractor-trailer unit and then off the roadway. The tractor-trailer unit was driven by 54-year-old Billy Bray of Perl Mississippi. After being struck the tractor-trailer ran off the roadway and overturned. Neither Brooks or his passenger 24-year-old Joseph Rector of Birch Tree were wearing their seatbelts. Both were transported to Mercy Hospital in Mountain View with moderate and minor injuries.
