MoDOT Roadwork In The Tricounty
US 60 in Texas and Wright Counties will be reduced to one lane as the Missouri Department of Transportation crews perform concrete repairs.
The section of roadway is located from Route 181 in Texas County to Route Y in Wright County.
Weather permitting, work will begin Tuesday, Nov. 24th at 7 a.m. and lane will reopen at 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18. Crews will be working at various locations throughout the work zone and it will be set-up for 24-hours.
Work will also take place on Route Z in Webster and Douglas Counties. Crews will replacing pipe under the roadway along Route Z south of Fordland. Weather permitting, work will take place Monday Nov. 23rd and Tuesday 24th 8am to 3pm between County Road 554 and the Douglas/Webster County Line.
Then on Wednesday November 24th from 8am to 3pm between the Douglas/Webster county line and Webster County Route TT.
Drivers will have to find an alternate route around the closings. Drivers will be able to get to driveways and other entrances on either side of the closings. However, they will NOT be able to travel through the work zones.
The work zone will be marked with signs. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling near the area.
