Triple Fatality Crash In Texas County

Three people died in a car crash on US-63, seven miles north of Cabool this (Thurs) morning. Before 8AM this (Thurs) morning, a car driven northbound by 66-year-old Lydia Kothe of Houston struck head-on a car driven south by 68-year-old Evelyn Hickerson of Houston. Both drivers and a passenger in Hickerson’s vehicle, 89-year-old Herbert Douglas of Houston were killed in the crash. The Highway Patrol, Cabool Police Department and Texas County Sheriff are still investigating the exact cause of the crash. They were assisted by the Cabool and Houston Fire Departments and MoDOT.
