Oldfield Woman Injured in Tuesday Afternoon Crash
An Oldfield woman was injured in a Douglas County crash Tuesday afternoon. At about 1:30PM Tuesday, 35-year-old Jammie White of Oldfield was driving south on Highway-76, west of Ava when she lost control on a curve and ran off the right side of the roadway, overcorrected, then ran off the left side of the road, striking an embankment. She then went back across the roadway and struck a tree. The Highway Patrol reports that White was wearing her seatbelt, she was transported to Mercy Hospital in Springfield with serious injuries.
