House Committee To Review MSHSAA [AUDIO]

A state House committee wants to know if the Missouri State High School Activities Association has followed the recommendations of a 2007 committee. Chairman Steve Cookson says it will review this week whether MSHSAA is complying with state laws including those on player safety.

The committee will also look at the association’s finances and determine if it’s following the state’s open records and meetings law. The panel was recently formed by House Speaker Todd Richardson.
