Two Injured in Friday Morning Crash Outside Hartville

A crash just east of Hartville on Highway-38 Friday morning sent 2 area residents to a Springfield hospital. At 10AM Friday, 21-year-old Cheyenne Stark of Cabool was driving east on Highway-38 when she went off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree. The Highway Patrol reports that neither Stark or her passenger, 24-year-old Dylan Dowden of Mountain Grove were wearing their seatbelts. Both were transported to Cox South in Springfield, Stark with serious injures, Dowden with moderate injuries.
