Two Out Of State Men Injured in Texas County Motorcycle Crash
Two out-of-state men were injured in Texas County, on Highway 32, 3 miles west of Licking, in a crash involving multiple motorcycles. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the crash occurred when the front wheel of a 2015 Harley Davidson motorcycle driven by 32-year-old Michael Phoenix of Midland Michigan struck the rear wheel of a 2010 Harley Davidson driven by 38-year-old Patrick Morris of Omaha Nebraska. The two motorcycles then ran off the road and collided again, ejecting both drivers. Phoenix received moderate injuries and was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Morris also received moderate injuries and was transported by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital.
