Licking Man Injured in Weekend Crash in Texas County

A car crash in Texas county over the weekend seriously injured a Licking man. According to the Missouri Highway Patrol 22-year-old Jacob Young of Licking was traveling on Higwhay-17 when his 1989 Chevy S-10 ran off the road, struck a fence and then a tree. Young suffered serious injuries and was taken by ambulance to Texas County Memorial Hospital in Houston. The crash happened 2 miles north of Bucyrus.
