One armed intruder was shot to death and the second arrested after allegedly breaking into a West Plains home early Sunday. West Plains police received a shots fired call at about 3:40 a-m. Officers say they found one man outside the residence when they arrived, so they arrested him. A second man was located inside the home with a gunshot wound. He had been shot by one of the people living there. The two armed robbery suspects haven’t been identified. Police say the wounded man is listed in critical condition at a Springfield hospital.
