Ava School Evacuated After Bomb Threat

The Ava Police department is investigating a bomb threat at the Ava Middle School. Students and staff were evacuated earlier this afternoon when a note with the threat was found. Parents were notified and picked up their students at the police department or at area churches. All events scheduled for the rest of today at the district have been canceled.
